Slop Stamp keeps your stamps on your own browser. The only thing that ever leaves it is a picture you choose to post to the wall, and the time it was taken.

On your browser

When stamp mode is on and saving is on, each stamp takes a picture of the visible part of the page. The extension stores that picture in your browser's extension storage, with the time, the page address, the page title, the site name and how many stamps were on the page. It keeps the newest 100.

None of this is sent anywhere. We can't see it. Deleting a picture in the gallery, deleting all of them, or removing the extension erases it.

The extension only runs on a tab after you click its toolbar icon there. It does not read pages you haven't stamped, and it does not track your browsing.

When you post to the wall

Posting is always your choice, one picture at a time. Before a picture leaves your browser you can cover any part of it, like a name or an inbox. The post sends two things: the picture and the time it was taken. The page address and title stay on your browser.

Our server stores the picture, that time, the time it was posted, and a scrambled copy of a removal key that only your gallery has. It removes hidden data inside the picture file before saving it. It does not store your IP address, any account, or anything else about you. There are no accounts.

Posts are checked by a person before they appear on the wall. Anyone can see a post once it is on the wall.

Taking a post back

Open the picture in your gallery and choose Remove from the wall. The picture and its record are deleted from our server right away. If you delete the picture from your gallery first, the removal key goes with it, so write to us instead.

Reports and removals

Anyone can report a picture on the wall. Reported pictures are hidden until we look at them. We remove anything that breaks the wall rules, including anything illegal, hateful, sexual, or that shows someone's private information, and we report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it. If you're in a picture on the wall, write to us and we'll take it down.

Who runs the servers

The site and the wall run on Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf. Cloudflare briefly sees your IP address to deliver the page and to slow down floods of posts; we don't keep it. Pages don't use cookies, analytics or ads.
